Quicken Error Occurs When Updating Discover Card Accounts

When updating your Discover Card accounts via Express WebConnect using Qiucken for for Windows, you may encounter error CC 585 or CC 185. This issue is due to security updates made by Discover Card in early December.

1. Open the Discover account register in Quicken
From your account register:

a. In Quicken 2013 and newer: Select the Actions gear icon at the very top of your register (Ctrl + Shift + N)
b. In Quicken 2012 and older: click on Account Actions

3. Then select Update Now.
4. Complete the steps to update your security questions/answers.
